Radio includes AM/FM plus 7 selectable bands of NOAA radio delivering daily weather forecasts, severe storm warnings and climate monitoring. When you're outdoors, the NOAA is covering the sun to the seas, the National Weather Service provides local and regional forecasts, and emergency alerts for severe storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, extreme heat, winter storms, fire threats, tsunamis and solar flares. Prepare for the great outdoors and enhance the fun on several levels. The Kaito KA800 PLL synthesized radio picks up a wide range of broadcasting including AM/FM and all 7 NOAA weather channels. You can tune into a radio station by using the tuning knob or ATS tuning or accessing one of the 225 memories. Thanks to the implement of DSP technology, the KA800 has excellent sensitivity and selectivity with minimum amount of noise & drifting. A built-in speaker offers crispy & clear sound with little distortion.
The KA800 can also be used as a MP3 player with built-in 2GB flash memory, you can download your favorite music from your computer to the radio through the USB port on the radio and play it wherever you go. You can also choose the record mode under which you can use the KA800 to record any radio program or just as a voice recorder. Depending on the sampling rate, the KA800 can record up to 150 hours of radio.
